Kim Baek-joon is aiming for his second win of the season.

In the second round of the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour Woori Finance Championship (total prize money of 1.5 billion won) held at Seowon Valley Country Club (par 71) in Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 26th, Kim Baek-joon tied one eagle, four birdies and two bogeys for a 4-under 67.

Kim Baek-joon, who posted an interim total of 1-under 212, tied for sixth with Park Il-hwan. He is three shots behind Taehoon Lee of copyright, the lone lead.

Kim made his KPGA debut last year. He sought to win the rookie of the year award, but allowed Song to upset in the latter half of this season. In the second season he eagerly prepared, he won the title from his first competition.

"I had over par for two days in the first and second rounds. As I passed the cut just in time for the standard number of pars, I played with the mindset of 'let's have fun,'" Kim said. "I don't think I will be able to win or advance to the top of the rankings this time. However, I think I have a chance. I will concentrate and play with the goal of winning the championship."

While Taehoon Lee led the game alone with a 4-under 209, Kang Tae-young and Moon Do-yeop tied for second with a 3-under 210 and Park Joon-hong and Ok Tae-hoon tied for fourth with a 2-under 211.

Ham Jung-woo, Jung Tae-yang, and Oh Seung-taek tied for 8th with even par, while Song Min-hyuk, Kim Min-hwi, Bae Yong-joon, and Lim Ye-taek tied for 14th with 1 over par.
